Paper jam Causes
The Duplo DC-616 Pro is highly efficient. However, sometimes the user encounters feeding problems, such as double feeds and paper jams at startup. Factors such as moisture in the paper, wrinkled paper, or static when trying to use it when printing is fresh are the most common causes. Next, Tips and adjustments of the Duplo Dc-616 Pro to solve the problem
Suggestions
- Make sure the paper is flat and wrinkle-free
- Let the paper rest on a flat surface for a few hours after being printed
- fan the form before placing it in the feed tray
Knob settings
- Airflow: First adjustment knob from top to bottom on the left side of the feed table. The document to be fed should float freely and separate from the following paper, allowing only one piece to enter at a time. The amount of air helps to achieve this separation. The heavier the document, the more air must be allowed. If you move the knob clockwise, the airflow increases and the air will decrease counterclockwise.
- Separation: second knob from top to bottom. It helps in the feeding process by stopping the document that follows the one being fed at the moment. If the Duplo Dc-616 Pro is dual feed, turn the knob counterclockwise, and if it doesn't provide, turn it clockwise.
- Elevator lever. This knob is on the tray above the paper to be fed. As the feed tray is raised, the documents should start to separate due to the amount of air and the separation settings. If the material rises too high, the machine will feed twice. If feeding twice, turn the knob clockwise, and if it does not get close to the feed belts, turn it counter-clockwise to allow the material to get close enough to the feed belts.
